User Registration and Account Access

Registration Requirements

To create an account and access the full features of the TalesBox platform, users must:

Provide a valid and active email address
Complete the registration process using Google (Gmail) OAuth authentication

TalesBox does not provide separate password recovery tools outside the Google login system

Platform Liability Disclaimer

By registering through Gmail, users acknowledge that TalesBox is not responsible for verifying identity or user data provided via Google authentication. TalesBox disclaims liability for any misuse of the registration process, including third-party data usage or unauthorized access.

5. Prohibited Registration Behavior

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

Providing false or misleading information, including fake names, email addresses, or contact details
Using personal data of another individual without their explicit consent
Falsifying identity or misrepresenting any personal information during registration
Uploading or using third-party information (e.g. names, emails, addresses) without consent
Registering on behalf of others without authorization
Circumventing or manipulating the registration flow or its intended functionality
Uploading or injecting malicious code, scripts, or viruses into the registration system
Using automated systems, bots, or scripts to create accounts
Registering for spam/malicious commercial purposes (e.g. sending spam or promotions)
Modifying or interfering with system logic related to user registration
Attempting to bypass account restrictions, suspensions, or bans by creating duplicate or altered accounts

Content Upload and Intellectual Property

By uploading or submitting content to TalesBox, creators agree to the following terms:

Content Ownership and Responsibility

You retain full ownership of any content uploaded to the platform.
By uploading content, you confirm that you have the legal rights to use, distribute, and publicly display such content.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, privacy rights, or other third-party rights.
You must also ensure that any AI-generated content does not replicate or impersonate real individuals, brands, or entities without consent.

AI Content Requirement

All content submitted to TalesBox must be either fully or partially created using artificial intelligence (AI) tools, technologies, or processes.
This includes but is not limited to: AI-generated visuals, audio, animations, dialogue, or characters.
Content that does not include a meaningful AI-generated component may be rejected or removed.
Creators are responsible for accurately describing and tagging their AI involvement when uploading content.

Prohibited Content

You may not upload or publish any content that includes, promotes, or contains:

Pornographic or sexually explicit material (including real, AI-generated, or simulated content)
Non-consensual nudity, deepfakes, or synthetic impersonation
Graphic violence, excessive gore, or depictions of cruelty
Hate speech, threats, bullying, or discriminatory messaging
False, deceptive, or misleading information intended to manipulate or misinform
Political or ideological propaganda presented as objective fact
Spam, chain letters, multi-level marketing schemes, or affiliate scams
Product promotions, third-party advertising, or any embedded brand placements without express approval from TalesBox
Paid reviews, undisclosed sponsorships, or promotional content masquerading as editorial work
Unlicensed or pirated material, including video, audio, software, or brand likeness
Any content that violates applicable laws, regulations, or platform policies
Any material that violates TalesBox's Terms of Service or Stripe's Acceptable Use Policy

Content Review, Moderation & Enforcement

All content uploaded to TalesBox is subject to moderation and approval before being made public or monetized.
TalesBox reserves the absolute right to approve, decline, limit visibility, remove, or permanently delete any content, at its sole discretion, with or without explanation.
Repeated submission of restricted or non-compliant content may lead to temporary suspension or permanent ban of the creator account.
TalesBox also reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any user account if the user is found to be in repeated or severe violation of content policies.
Users may not attempt to re-register or bypass bans by creating new accounts or using alternate identities.

Legal Compliance and Liability

TalesBox bears no legal or editorial responsibility for any content uploaded by users.
Creators are solely responsible for any legal claims, copyright takedowns, or disputes related to their content.
TalesBox may remove or restrict content at any time in response to takedown notices, platform integrity reviews, or legal requests.
TalesBox may cooperate with regulators, rights holders, or law enforcement if content is found to violate any applicable laws or cause harm.

ScreenWalker / AI Actor Policy

By creating, uploading, or submitting an AI-generated actor (“ScreenWalker”) to TalesBox, you agree to the following terms and responsibilities.

Ownership and Responsibility

You retain full copyright ownership over any ScreenWalker you create or upload to TalesBox.
By uploading, you confirm that you have the legal rights to use, design, and publicly display the digital likeness, voice, or performance of your ScreenWalker.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your AI-generated actor does not infringe upon the likeness, identity, or image rights of any real individual.
You may not upload or create any ScreenWalker that replicates or imitates a real person, celebrity, or identifiable private individual without their explicit consent.
By submitting a ScreenWalker, you agree that all associated content (visual, audio, behavioral data, and metadata) complies with applicable laws and TalesBox policies

Approval and Verification

All uploaded ScreenWalkers must undergo TalesBox review and verification before they can be published, licensed, or monetized on the platform.
Approval is mandatory. A ScreenWalker is not considered official or visible to the public until TalesBox confirms and approves it.
TalesBox reserves full discretion to approve, delay, or reject any ScreenWalker submission without obligation to provide an explanation.
Unapproved ScreenWalkers cannot be used for commercial or promotional purposes within TalesBox.

Prohibited Content

You are strictly prohibited from uploading or publishing any ScreenWalker that includes, depicts, promotes, or is associated with:

Sexually explicit or pornographic material, including real, simulated, or AI-generated sexual content.
Violent, abusive, or harmful representations, including depictions of cruelty, physical harm, or extreme aggression.
Non-consensual likeness or identity usage, including unauthorized digital impersonation (“deepfakes”).
Hate speech, discriminatory behavior, or harassment of any kind.
Misleading or fraudulent content, such as impersonating real actors, brands, or organizations.

Any ScreenWalker found to violate these standards will be removed without notice, and the associated account may be suspended or permanently terminated.

Identity Protection and Reporting

If you believe your identity, likeness, or voice has been used to create a ScreenWalker without your permission, you may use the “Report” feature available on the platform.
Upon receiving a valid report, TalesBox will immediately investigate the claim and take appropriate action, including removal or suspension of the violating content or account.
TalesBox cooperates with rights holders and law enforcement in cases of impersonation, privacy infringement, or misuse of digital likeness.

Legal Compliance and Liability

TalesBox bears no legal or editorial responsibility for any AI actor or ScreenWalker uploaded by users.
The creator is fully responsible for ensuring that all likeness rights, copyright, and ethical standards are respected.
TalesBox reserves the right to remove, suspend, or permanently delete any ScreenWalker or related content at its sole discretion, without prior notice.
Repeated violations may result in permanent account termination and denial of future access to the platform.
Users are prohibited from re-registering or bypassing account bans under alternate identities.

Ethical Use Reminder

ScreenWalkers are designed to expand creative storytelling possibilities — not to exploit, mislead, or harm others.

Creators are expected to act responsibly, respect individual privacy and dignity, and use AI technology with integrity and respect for human identity.

TalesBox assumes no obligation to verify or monitor the copyright ownership, identity rights, or authenticity of any uploaded material.

TalesBox Plus Casting Room Terms

Purpose:

TalesBox Plus Casting Room is a digital casting feature that allows creators, studios, and industry partners to review audition materials submitted by participants who have the potential to be involved in a film, series, or other production.

Data Sharing:

By submitting your video, image, or application materials, you agree that your information may be shared with verified creators, studios, or production partners involved in a film or series project.

TalesBox Plus does not guarantee that you will be selected or cast for any specific role.

Prohibited Actions

Participants are strictly prohibited from:

Submitting false, misleading, or impersonated information.
Uploading nudity, sexually suggestive, or violent content.
Submitting copyrighted material they do not own or have rights to use.
Harassing, threatening, or contacting creators or studios outside the official TalesBox platform.
Attempting to buy, sell, or trade casting opportunities.
Sharing other participants' personal data or audition materials.

Disclaimer:

TalesBox assumes no obligation to verify copyright, identity, or ownership of submitted materials and may remove any content that violates these terms.

TalesBox reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any user who breaches these casting rules.

Your submitted materials will be retained until you officially contact us at hello@talesbox.co.uk to request removal or to indicate that you no longer wish to participate in the TalesBox Plus casting process.
